Henry and Hae-Jean: "On July 22, 2007 I got engaged. My fiance proposed to me after 5 and half years of dating in the most spectacular way in my eyes! He flew out to the Bahamas where I was vacationing with some girl friends and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Since the proposal our engagement has had many ups and downs. The process to create this one day is a roller coaster. I wanted to start a blog to share my experiences and great finds with everyone!" ~ Hae-Jean Son
Jody and Dave: I knew Henry was going to propose to Haej. I was packing for my vacation to Vancouver and Henry stopped by the house to do some errands for her while she was away (aww how cute). He looked nervous and stressed out, so I asked him what was up and he told me of his grand plan. It was so sweet, I teared up. Luckily Henry didn't see me cry my tears of joy. If he did, I think he would have started to cry too considering the way he looked already. I bid him farewell, said good luck and headed to my trip. Little did I know, my fiance was scheming a plan of his own because soon after Dave and I got engaged on July 24, 2007 on top of a big cliff called the Chief. The 3 hr hike was well worth it, with the scenery, the proposal, and the pampering at the Four Seasons afterward. At that moment, I wanted to give Haej a hug, for I knew she was feeling exactly the same way as I did. I was on Cloud 9 and she must have been on the next cloud over.
Grace and Daniel: We have been engaged for a while longer than Haej and jody. Daniel and I went ring shopping before, but had no idea that he was planning to ask me the big question so soon. I was on vacation in New York City with my friend. We went to go see the tree lighting ceremony at rockefeller center. For some reason we were able to get to the front easily. As we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, Daniel surprisingly showed up in front of me, got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I was in shock. I could not beleive what was going on.
