My Favorite Bouquet

Blushing Beauty
From the bold hues of the scabiosas and tulips to the softly shaded roses, the range of pinks in this bouquet by Livia Cetti spell romance. The dangling white tuberose and wisps of amaranth balance this classic arrangement, which is tied with a picot-edge pink-and-brown ribbon.

Summer Blooms~

Ok! my next step is to meet with various florists and book one! I met with two so far and two more to go. Ever time we meet with a new florist they have new ideas and get me more and more excited. I like to tell the florist my theme and see what they come up with. It gives me more of an idea of how the wedding should look. The hard thing for me is that my colors are Brown, Champagne, Gray Blue and possibly Gray Silver and I do not want that "BLUE FLOWER" look in my flowers. I want it to be Romantic and soft.

So far we've met with:
My friend Sara Lee at Diva Flowers She had some fantastic ideas! She did my sisters wedding so I trust her to make my wedding just as beautiful.

Another florist we are met was Annette Gomez Annette was so nice and had many fantastic ideas as well. She has a great portfolio of wedding I loved. I believe some of them were featured in Exquisite Weddings Magazine.

Today we have another appointment with my friends Tae's Sisters Flower shop. We are meeting with Joan Kim from Michaels Flower Girl I've heard many good things about her shop from Tae and I also saw her work at the Bridal Bazzar in San Diego. Her shop made all the bouquets displayed in the Fashion show that day.

Our Last appointment is on Thursday with Dawn at Embellishmint I've heard good things about her from our coordinators and I've seen her work on her website. I loved everything she did! i can't wait to meet her...

Some flowers I like:
Peonies

Hydrangea

Garden Rose

Gardenia

Magnolia

It's here!!!

I got a call Friday evening that my wedding dress has arrived at the store. I was so excited that I text messaged all my bridesmaids and told them. I went to the store on Sunday with my Sister, mom, two aunt and my cousin's new girlfriend. I thought to myself... how embarrassing that they were all coming along... but then I just told me self that every girls gets their moment to be the princess and this is mine...

I tried on the dress and it felt like the first time I was trying it on because I've never seen it in the white color. The dress I tried on previously was a mocha with Pink flowers. I loved it. It was stunning! Now I just need to get a matching veil and headpiece. Yippy!!!!!!

bathroom baskets

What a cute idea i just read about....This person is making bathroom baskets for their guests to enjoy! I love this detail....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I often judge a place by the caliber of its bathrooms. Little touches like a scented candle or a small vase of flowers really helps to brighten up an otherwise drab bathroom. Bringing in things your guests might need will make them feel like they’re taken care of. I’m creating bathroom baskets with essentials for our guests to tackle any little emergency that might arise. This is what’s going in them:

Women’s bathroom

  1. Advil
  2. Bandaids
  3. Hairspray
  4. Bobby pins
  5. Breath mints
  6. Gum
  7. Mouthwash
  8. Comb
  9. Brush
  10. Contact lens solution
  11. Safety pins
  12. Q-tips
  13. Nail file
  14. Nail glue
  15. Tampons
  16. Sanitary Napkins
  17. Tissues
  18. Hand Lotion
  19. Clear nail polish (for runs in stockings)
  20. Perfume

Men’s Bathroom

  1. Cologne
  2. Mouthwash
  3. Breath Mints
  4. Gum
  5. Gel
  6. Hairspray
  7. Comb
  8. Bandaids
  9. Advil

Am I forgetting anything? I found this cute poem posted in one of the chatrooms:

Here is a basket for all of our guests,
To make sure everyone feels their best!
The hairspray will help hold your hair in place,
The bobby pins to keep your hair out of your face.
If you break a nail, don’t worry! There’s a file and some glue,
It can also fix a broken heel on a shoe!
The polish will stop that darn run in your hose,
Use the tissues to stop a runny nose!
We hope that you’ll find what you’re looking for.
Take a mint and now go hit the dance floor!
