flowers make me happy

Flowers always brighten up my day and the variety of colors they come in awes me. From pinks to yellows to fire engine red and all the other colors of the rainbow. Every time I encounter an orchid, I wonder how something so exquisite can just blossom and pop out of the ground. They don't even have to be as complex an an orchid; tulips and calla lilies are beautiful in their own right. In some ways, the simplicity makes it even more so. The mesmerizing effect of them is a mystery to me, but no complaints here. I'm happy that Mother Nature decided to give us an abundance of visual gifts.

Chateau de St. Julien L'ars

Every little girl dreams of one day growing up to meet her prince charming and living happily ever after in a castle...or at least getting married in one. Ok, maybe not every little girl, but I did. I stumbled upon the Chateau de St. Julien L'ars and knew it was it, the place I've been dreaming about all along! Too bad it's all the way in France and the the current worth of the USD has dropped dramatically. But, if wedding planning has taught me anything, it's that what I thought I wanted has not turned out to be true. You wait ladies, you think you don't want that tiara? Try it on. Or a super lacey beaded dress? Give it a shot anyway. You just might change your mind. Just stay away from puffy sleeves from the 80's. That's never ok, err except for maybe back the 80's.

Let's go Red

I've been going to a lot of different blogs recently to get inspired and start making invitation, menus, and label. This seems so overwhelming because there are so many things to look at. I'm in three wedding this year including my own. That mean more invitations with all different themes and color schemes. For the most part it's really fun. I would really like to include my Cousin Johnny's 3 kids and My sister's 2 kids in my wedding.

I'm thinking of having 2 flower girls, my cousin's youngest daughter Mia and my niece Averi. They are going to be adorable!!!

Henry and I fell in LOVE. We were like two kids in a candy store. You should of seen Henry's reaction when we were on the tour. He says, "Nothing was spared when developing this place." He was never so excited. This place was everything we were looking for. You get this romantic Italian feel. It's spectacular....Truly is GRAND! This place is really expensive. To grand for us~

Choosing a photographer is so hard. I never new I had an opinion on this but I do. I don't like it when the photos are digitally altered too much. I love high contrast photos with vibrant colors. I like it when the photos are clear and clean... not to much diffusion. (added blur)

Bridesmaid dresses

Where do you find the best deals? Do they have the color I want? Can I trust those dress websites? Who ever would've thought that finding a bridesmaid dress would be the hardest thing. There are so many styles to choose from I can't make a decision! I've been looking at House of Brides a lot lately. Grace told me that someone she knows bought dresses off this site before. So i guess this one is trust worthy.

I found this site: Peri Dresses and all the dresses are about half the price. Is this legit? Has any one purchased dresses from this site? The website say they are a factory based out in China. I'm really tempted to but the dresses from this site, but can I trust it? I found a review for this site... Read it and see for yourself. Let me know if any of your buy from here and loved everything!
